Salvation

The main purpose of Christ our Refuge and Salvation Ministries which was founded by our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, is to save people from sin, from the forth coming judgement and to reconcile man to God. The biggest miracle we celebrate as a ministry is that of SALVATION which comes only through our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, who is our refuge and salvation.
Salvation is to be saved from sin through our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. The first step is to repent from our sins, then confessing with our own mouth, and believing with our own heart that Jesus Christ is our Lord and Personal Saviour, then we shall be saved Romans 10:9-14. Salvation is entirely a work of God's grace and cannot be earned or deserved. For by grace you have been saved through faith and not of yourself, it is the gift of God, not of world, lest any man should boast Ephesians 2:8-9. The Lord Jesus died to save all mankind and is offered to all who believe in him. “For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son, so that who so ever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life” John 3:16. God in his love forgives sinners whom he call, granting them repentance and faith John1:12-13; 5:24-26 Romans:21-26.

We need to know that as children of God our biggest enemy is the devil who introduced sin to men. The greatest weapon the devil uses to connect himself to us is sin. Sin broke the relationship and fellowship that existed between God and man Genesis 3:1-21. Our God is a righteous God, he is righteous in all his ways. He is holy and if we say that we have fellowship with him, and walk in darkness, we lie, and do not have the truth: But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his son cleanseth us from all sin. If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. 1 John 1:6-8.

If you want to receive The Lord Jesus today, as your Lord and Personal Saviour, repeat the following prayer:

"Lord Jesus I come to you today, I know that I am a sinner, I believe that you died on the cross to save me. You did what I could not do for myself. I am confessing my sins to you today. Forgive me Lord as I forgive those, who have trespassed against me, wash me with your blood, make me whole again. I am inviting you to come into my heart, be my Lord and my Saviour, write my name in the book of life. I thank you Lord Jesus for saving me.
In the name of Jesus Christ I pray
Amen"

If you have said this prayer from your heart, I believe that, you have been saved today. Congratulations for taking this big step in your life. BAPTISM

WHAT JESUS SAID ABOUT BAPTISM AND BEING BORN AGAIN

John 3:1-7

There was a man of the Pharisees, named Nicodemus, a ruler of the Jews:  The same came to Jesus by night, and said unto him, Rabbi, we know that thou art a teacher come from God: for no man can do these miracles that thou doest, except God be with him. Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.  Nicodemus saith unto him, How can a man be born when he is old? can he enter the second time into his mother's womb, and be born?  Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.  That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.  Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again.

Matthew 28:18-20

And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth.  Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen.

WHAT JESUS DID ABOUT BAPTISM

Then cometh Jesus from Galilee to Jordan unto John, to be baptized of him. But John forbad him, saying, I have need to be baptized of thee, and comest thou to me?  And Jesus answering said unto him,  Suffer it to be so now: for thus it becometh us to fulfil all righteousness. Then he suffered him. And Jesus, when he was baptized, went up straightway out of the water: and, lo, the heavens were opened unto him, and he saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove, and lighting upon him: Matthew 3:14-16
